Last night, 150 invited celebrities and VIP guests joined Nespresso to celebrate, experience and discover an amazing world of coffee, and launch the Limited Edition Peru Secreto Grand Crus.

Guests were taken on ‘journey’ to some of the best coffee regions of the world, learning about and tasting, the produce, innovation and sustainability initiatives with Nespresso Market Director, Loic Rethore and Ambassador Mitch Monaghan.

The event concept and creative was led by TORSTAR’s CEO, with the centrepiece being the extraordinary Nespresso Wheel showcasing the Grand Crus collection, as well as a specialised laser-projected map of the world lighting up the floor to highlight each Pure Origin region. Entertainment helped to set the scene with an extraordinary display of international performers, including sitar player, drummers and dancers, as well as DJ KLP.

Guests were treated to canapés designed by Peter Kuruvita, of Flying Fish fame, who collaborated with Nespresso to celebrate the experience. The bespoke menu included Ethiopian goats curd ice cream with cumquat confiture, Colombian Baby corn and queso fresca and Doughnuts with NespressoPeru Secreto anglaise paired back with Nespresso African Fymbos Brandy and Nespresso
